Autorenporträt
Hannah Carter is Research Analyst in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office's Middle East and North Africa Research Group. Anoushiravan Ehteshami is Professor of International Relations and former Director of the Institute for Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies at the University of Durham. He is also Vice-President of the British Society for Middle Eastern Studies (BRISMES). His most recent publications include, The Foreign Policies of Middle East States (co-editor) (2002), Iran's Security Policy in the Post-Revolutionary Era (co-author) (2001), Iran and Eurasia (co-editor) (2000), The Changing Balance of Power in Asia (1998), Syria and Iran: Middle Powers in a Penetrated Regional System (with Ray Hinnebusch) (1997), Islamic Fundamentalism (co-editor) (1996), After Khomeini: The Iranian Second Republic (1995), and From the Gulf to Central Asia: Players in the New Great Game (editor) (1994).
