In this theatrical work, the writer evokes the spirit of the poet and his lover, tracing their footsteps... asking his questions: If great love is truly great, what separated them because of their inability to conquer it? Or did the arrogance of the power that gave her birth make her look at Ibn Zaydoun with a kind of condescension? Or was the distracted poet afflicted with vanity and temperament and did not know how to defend his love story and save it from premature endings? Or did the machinations they were exposed to precipitate the end? Therefore, the creativity that deals with this love story will remain permanently present, whenever Ibn Zaydoun's name and birth are mentioned, because what is certain is that there is a painful love story that brought together the two lovers, and was passed from generation to generation to tell about them, adding to what was said at times, and denying what was written at other times, in search of a special vision for the story.
