Davi witnesses the revolution that destroys her home while Martha encounters a modern Cambodia, devastated by poverty and the corruption left in the wake of Pol Pot and a genocide that destroyed a quarter of the population. Their unlikely paths cross in a bizarre twist of fate leaving Martha questioning the purpose of her mission and the depth of her faith.
