Pisgah AME Church in Greenwood, SC by Bishop Frederick Calhoun James, and he was ordained an Itinerant Elder in the AME Church on September 29, 1995 by Bishop John Hurst Adams at Bethel AME Church in Columbia, SC. He has taught in the Religion Departments of Allen University in Columbia, SC, Limestone College the Columbia, SC campus, and Newberry College in Newberry, SC.
