Alfred Vogel (1902 - 96) was one of the great Swiss pioneers of naturopathy. He made the results of his research in phytotherapy (herbal medicine) and his practical experiences as a naturopath and nutritionist available to a wide audience through lectures all over the world and through a wealth of publications. His many books and the journal, A.Vogel Health News, which he personally edited for almost 50 years, achieved high print runs at home and abroad, and spread his views on a healthy way of life, diet, prevention, natural therapy and holistic medicine.
