Jennifer Blackburn was born in Baltimore, Maryland. She graduated from Ramapo High School in Franklin Lakes, NJ and earned her degree in English and Writing from Ithaca College in New York State. Jennifer spent time studying abroad in 1980s London, England where she fell in love with history and art. Jennifer and her husband Jeff, live in Richmond, VA, and Sarasota, FL. They share six children who are beginning their new chapters as fabulous adults. "The [New] New Patriotism" is Jennifer's debut book on a timely subject in need of a perspective from an "every person" rather than those in positions of power.
