Most of the action and story unravels in the wide expanse of the Royal Natal National Park in Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa, but it moves rapidly, backwards, and forwards, covering situations in Capo Delgado and ISIS in Mozambique, a rugby test at Ellis Park in Johannesburg, as well as other tense and poignant situations. The novel begins and ends with high tension fraught with danger, and tragedy, but ultimately the reader sees the believable beginnings of the longed-for dawn of the rainbow nation of South Africa.
