If semiotics is the study of meaning or the philosophy of meaning and the way in which the representation of meanings is created through signs, whether language or image, and if translation is the transmission of transient cultures through symbols, then semiotic criticism is concerned with interpreting discourse and illuminating its cultural value through symbol systems. These interconnected human cognitive fields are essentially linked to the two axes of brand and culture. And in these blue waves of knowledge, thought finds itself in searching for meaning, producing it, and interpreting it as long as man inhabits the surface of this planet. Meaning is the herb that human races have searched for since the beginning of creation. Signs surround the worlds, words cannot exist without images, and beings cannot exist without meaning. This perception forms the basic structure of the book (The Odyssey of the Symbol: Studies in the Semiotic Universe). The book is a new adventure in analyzing the products of written and visual culture. Linguistics is concerned with the system of verbal symbols, that is, language, but semiotics goes beyond it to study the sign systems of animals and plants, and even beyond that to include the study of messages transmitted by visual images and musical structures through (visual semiotics). Semiotics in the general track is the theory of symbolic systems and the production of signs, and in the cultural universe the analysis and interpretation of cultural forms with meanings.
