Ferellon is an island in crisis

Three nations live on the island-two kingdoms and a screwed up republic. Because of its geography, an overall government was not ever possible. Before written history, the island was ripped in two by a geological catastrophe-and then welded together in the center by a massive lava flow which is now known as the The Black Plain. Both sides of the massive cut through the island are lined by huge jagged mountain ranges of perpetually snow-covered peaks.

The northern edge of the island has no real sea access because of the continual flow of glaciers and broken ice which covers the Septargent Sea up there. That icy chaos flows down the east side of the island as well, cutting off all access from the sea during the frozen months beginning in Harvest season, through Winter season, and into Sowing season.

On the east of the cut, up north, these geographic woes have kept Shtürm in clan warfare until recently, when Polyn Semtok became Clan Overload. He earned his position with sheer warrior prowess coupled with unchecked brutality among the Velgaard warriors.

Below Shtürm, Aachen is in the process of being destroyed by its government-a representational republic with an inadequate constitution. The political battles between those who want to rule with big government controlling the people, and the wealthy using the government to make their actions legal has turned violent. Both groups, the Libertal Party and the Freedom Party, were not constrained by any real executive branch. And they both had judges in their pocket to make rulings in their favor. The levels of corruption were nearly overwhelming. It was chaos.

On the western half of Ferellon, Ferrelâr has been the blessed, prosperous kingdom until recently. But that is changing…heading downhill fast.

Autorenporträt

For me, my early life culminated with the great rebellion of the sixties. Ending up as a fine artist and heavy user of pot and acid, I needed help. I met Jesus in 1974, and my life began, for real. The Lord gave me an amazing Godly woman for my wife in 1976. I became a graphic designer, font designer, and desktop publisher. In 1991, I began teaching printing and digital publishing. That resulted in writing dozens of books and booklets about the practical processes, using InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

In 2009, I began the transformation into an author of fiction. By the end of 2022, I had 17 novels in five series, as I have developed my craft. This book is #20, and is the third book of the sixth series.

I'm using Christian contemporary speculative fiction with some Biblical romance to share stories about the reality of how Jesus touches our day-to-day lives, while being strongly focused upon Biblical truth. I put the stereotypical Bible quoters in the same category as robo-callers. I attempt to reveal Jesus within a realistic world sharing my experiences. The goal is to reveal Jesus as a loving Creator building people into what they are designed to be. I currently assume time is running short, and the final harvest is here.
