A Sabahan writer is committed to promote the state's diverse cultures through her writings, to preserve its rich cultural heritages from being forgotten by the young generation. She, said her career as a hotel manager will not stop her from writing as it is her way to promote the colourful traditions of the communities in Sabah. According to her, the communities of various ethnicity in the state have many unique traditions and cultures that need to be introduce to the public especially to the young generation who have started to forget their own roots. Traditional arts and heritage will fade away if there is no actions taken to preserve them, she added. In this regard, she hopes that through her works in novel, poem, drama scripts and essays, she can help in promoting Sabah's rich cultural heritage.
