What is evil? Were did it come from. This is a fundamental negative aspect of the Human condition that has engaged theologians, mystics and philosophers for centuries. And more recently, psychologists. The whole evolutionary process of life entails the use of free will, in an existential sense, making mistakes, correcting such, learning, and then moving on. But evil is like taking hold of a hiking pilgrim who is just about to climb a steep hill, and filling their rucksack with rocks. Many different theories have been put forward as to where evil has come from (the Devil, the Fall, Man disobeying God, brain malfunction) but there is no universal agreement on such. The lack of agreement means that there is no universal concentration of effort to power Mankind forward onto, what should be, a faster evolutionary progression. The book explores every conceivable source of information that is know to us, with a much wider scope than most books on the subject have done in the past. All the known World religions, present and past (including so-called mythologies). Many Native spiritual belief systems. In total over sixty. The book also explores the teachings of various Western Mystical and Esoteric systems. Somewhat controversionally, it then goes on to explore the possibility of extra-terrestrial visitors to our Planet interfering with Human evolution for their own selfish ends. An examination of the development of Western Psychology over nearly three centuries has provided insights into human behaviour and the physiological workings of the brain. Conventional Society post 19th. Century has tended to develop its own set of norms as to what is evil, which sometimes feed back into a government's legislative program in respect of criminal law. The book looks at corporate evil perpetrated by governments, banks, financial institutions, the Media, religious administrative bodies, and multi-national corporations, as these are just as capable of acts of evil as any individual, although often on a vastly greater scale. Lastly the book explores the issues of morality, acts with unintended consequences, the issue of intent, and personal responsibility. Curiously, instead of the last chapter being the conclusion of all the preceding chapters, it traces out the whole history of the Cosmos from the first point of creation (spiritual "e;Big Bang"e;) right through to modern Human society on Earth. Its purpose was to examine if something untoward happened in the process of Cosmic Creation that has set up an imbalance in the functioning of the Universe, the Galaxy, the Solar System, our Planet, that has thrown Human evolution out of kilter.

Born in Ilford, Essex in 1943 Roy was evacuated into the countryside of Wiltshire in 1944 to escape the German V.1 and V.2 attacks on London. After the War Roy was educated in a secondary modern school in Ilford, Essex, after which he took part-time further education to gain professional membership of the Incorporated Association of Architects and Surveyors. He then spent most of his working life as a professional town planner in local government in various parts of Southern England. Upon retirement Roy has worked for a number of charities.Married for 30 years, but with no children, Roy's Dutch wife Diana died of Crohn's disease at the age of 58. Roy never re-married.At the age of 21 Roy joined the Rosicrucian Order AMORC, with whom he was a member for over 20 years. He has also, at various times, been a member of the congregation of an Anglican cathedral, a member of a Masonic lodge, and a member of another small esoteric group of friends doing advanced work of spiritual shadow healing. Roy also completed a students course for Dion Fortune's "Society of Inner Light". Roy is a trained third degree REIKI master.Starting with vivid dreams had in his teens, Roy has had numerous past-life experiences, and has also had other spiritual and psychic experiences that have provided much of the material for his books. As a member of Resurgence and the Green Party Roy is intensely interested in the rapidly changing World we are living in at the present time, the beginning of the new Age of Aquarius, with old structures from the Piscean Age refusing to let go, possibly because of the Anunnaki influence.Over recent years Roy has had articles about ley lines and sacred sites published in magazines and journals such as, The Beacon, Gatekeeper Trust Newsletter and the Journal of the Research into Lost Knowledge Organisation (RILKO), and the Journal of the Society of Inner Light. He has also given talks and power-point presentations on subjects such as the Western Mystery Tradition, reincarnation, chakras, spiritual bodies, time and consciousness, dragons and The Planetary Grid.To date (July 2017) Roy has had five works published as e-books with Amazon Kindle and all other e-book libraries. THE PLANETARY MATRIX deals with the primary ley-line network of the Earth, and the energy vortices that appear at sacred sites located at the confluence of those lines. THE DRAGONS OF SOMERSET presents a number of amusing stories about dragons in the County of Somerset, England. It then goes on to compare such with dragon stories from around the World and to study the possible meanings behind such, SIGURD - SIEGFRIED : A HERO MYTH FOR OUR TIME. This book deconstructs this famous Germanic myth for its Jungian and Cosmic archetypes. The book was conceived partly from Roy's fascination with mythology, and partly due to his realisation that many myths contain Jungian and spiritual archetypes. In examining these archetypes Roy realised that they relate, to a greater or lesser degree, to the make-up of all people, and that there are many spiritually sensitive people in this New Age who have the courage to take up the hero-path. In a more general sense Roy has studied Astronomy, World religions, mythology, psychology and philosophy.
