Autorenporträt
An engineer by qualification, Madhumita Thakur's heart always belonged to writing. She finally found her true calling when she moved away from India to experience a different life in Australia. By her own admission this book is inspired in parts by the events of her personal life when she set her foot into a new world and tasted a dose of an immigrant's untold predicament. She is a freelance writer who also successfully dabbles in creative and business writing and captures the essence of an NRI's life with her columns in local Australian magazines and Times of India newspaper in India. She currently lives in Melbourne with her husband.
