Produktbeschreibung
The Oyo Empire (Books One and Two) is a mythical/fictional dramatization of the mythological or folkloric days in Yoruba country. Inundated with blood and thunder, the novella of magic realism reveals how the fairies preceded the creation of man, singling out mononymous Ijapa, the nonpareil storyteller and the protagonist of Yoruba folktales.

Book Two shows the continuity of the blood and thunder activities of fairy Jah and fairy Jo who magically stole from the affluent in order to feed the hungry mouths, just like the heroic Robin Hood of the 13th century English folklore. The two fairies accused the fortune maker (who acquired wealth by selling human beings) for manipulating and pushing them into purloining and bag-eyed behaviors.
