Now Director of the IUCN Peatland Programme, his writing gives a personal and passionate insight into the human interventions that have shaped Scotland's wildlife and landscape. As a firm believer that conservation relies on people enjoying nature, Clifton is keen to share the experiences of his many travels around the country's natural treasures.
