Nicholas Humphrey is a partner with a major law firm in Sydney. He has a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of New South Wales and a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia (SIA). He is a regular contributor to media discussions on property, investments and tax, and has had articles published in the Daily Telegraph, Your Mortgage Magazine, Australian Property Investor magazine and Project and Kit Homes magazine. Nicholas is also the author of The Pocket Home Buyer's Guide. His latest book, The Penguin Small Business Guide, is a complete reference handbook for small to medium enterprises.Nicholas lives with his wife, Victoria, and their children, Thomas, Megan and Angus, in a partially renovated house, and sympathises with all other DIY home renovators.
