He has published in Chile, Spain, Korea and China, and has been awarded creative grants by the Government of Chile on two separate occasions. The Perfect Siesta, his first book with NubeOcho, has been awarded with both the Junior Library Guild Selection and the International Latino Book Award for Best Children's Fiction Picture Book in Spanish.
