Jessi tiller is a graduate of Longview high school, where she wrote her stories during classes. She grew up in Hallsville, Texas, and had to pause her writing when she went to basic training for the United States Army. She believes this book began in middle school in sixth grade or seventh grade to help her with the problems going on in her life. She is currently lives in Longview, Texas, where she writes her other books and works as groomer for dogs
