Autorenporträt
Born and raised in the American Midwest, Doug studied literature, film, and photography as an undergraduate, then immersed himself in the Classics of the West and the East at St. John's College, where he earned his Master's degrees.

Ranging in style from the classical traditions to the avant-garde, Doug weds word and image to explore the mythological and archetypal realms. He illuminates both original poetry and prose as well as classics of world literature. Captivating and evocative, challenging and disturbing, poetic, subtle and philosophical, his rich works are to be experienced again and again.
