'The Plane Crash' is the third in the series, after 'This Forest is Ours' and 'Just Leave us Alone!', about the fairies and leprechauns who still exist in a remote corner of the far west of Ireland. The novella is about a rude awakening by the modern world when a light plane crashes on the fairies' lovingly tended fields. There is only one person in the plane, the pilot, who is very badly injured and in a coma. He is clutching a metal case to his chest and has no identification on him. But is he going to wake up and, if he does, what kind of man is he?

Autorenporträt
After graduating from University with a degree in Classics, Richard Sloane roamed the world for twenty years as a peripatetic English teacher with a couple of years back in England to do more studying. After that he returned to Cambridge, the city of his birth, to continue teaching again with a couple of longish stints off to publish text books for EFL teachers and students. However, he was then forced to retire for medical reasons and, since that time, he has been writing fiction, something he has enjoyed doing throughout his life. He has written stories for all different age groups and this is his 21st published work. For more details of these books, please visit his website: richardsloanebooks.com
