Autorenporträt

I started my university years as a STEM major. It took me a semester to realize that I had absolutely no idea what I actually wanted to do with my life in terms of a career. I knew I wanted to help people, but I had no passion for math and science. It was through taking courses in the English department that I remembered my passion for reading and writing. I realized that I could make a difference with my words rather than my hands. My goal with my work is to entertain while shedding light on topics that are usually misunderstood.

As a woman, a person of color, and a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I am working towards a future where the unheard voices of the past are keynote speakers. I hope to inspire the actions that could create that change with every new work that I release. After a year of hard work writing, studying, rewriting, a. I am nd editing I finally took the first step on my journey as a writer. My first book, Explorations of Unnatural Unions is currently available as an ebook (See works section for more information). I am excited to see where my journey takes me, and can't wait to share it with my readers!
