Gladys Ganiel is Reader in Sociology at Queen's University Belfast, specialising in religion and conflict, and religion and change in Ireland. She is author/co-author of six books and more than 40 scholarly articles and chapters, including Transforming Post-Catholic Ireland and Considering Grace: Presbyterians and the Troubles (co-authored with Jamie Yohanis). David Mitchell is Assistant Professor at Trinity College Dublin at Belfast. He is author of Politics and Peace in Northern Ireland (Manchester University Press, 2015) and numerous journal articles and book chapters on several dimensions of the Northern Ireland transition including party politics, language, sport, mediation and religion.
