Dr. François Adja Assemien was born on March 15, 1954, in Côte d'Ivoire (West Africa). He studied humanities (Latin and Greek), social sciences and philosophy. He is graduate in Philosophy (PhD) and sociology (Bachelor'degree). He devoted himself to teaching (philosophy), writing and academic research. He speaks and writes three modern languages: French, English and German. He is author of several books published in Europe and in the United States (novels, essays, stories, plays) and of several concepts like Afrocratism, African Consciousness, Philocure, Sidarologie, Aboubou music, philosophy of Africain spirit. He is also musician, composer, singer and guitarist. He lives in the United States of America.
