Autorenporträt

Karen Welch spent much of her career with Ford Motor Company after graduating with a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from Tennessee Technological University. At Ford, she held both plant and staff management positions in areas including Quality, Engineering, and Production. Ms. Welch has been a third party auditor since 1997 working in many industries including automotive, glass, rubber, plastics, chemicals, steel, and transportation. She has audited many large Fortune 500 companies and also worked as a trainer and consultant. Ms. Welch is an IRCA Certified Lead Auditor, an ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, a Supplier Quality Requirements Task Force Certified 3rd party QS-9000 Assessor, and an IATF Certified 3rd party ISO/TS 16949:2002 Auditor.
