Autorenporträt
Jeevaneyan @ M. Kannadhasan, is a Poet, Writer and Bibliophile. He has immense interest in knowledge sharing and learning. He is extremely fond of all living things in the world and he writes poems in Tamil and English under the pen name "Jeevaneyan". He hails from Tirupattur district, Tamilnadu. He has an insatiable and unquenchable thirst for his mother tongue Tamil. His writings focus on Tamil uprising, philosophy of life, revolt and emancipation of Tamil people. He is the author of the books Grammar: A Pleasure and Maturation of Siddhartha. He has published a book entitled "Urangatha Vinmeengal" a Collection of Poems and also published "Iraivazhi Padoom" collection of poems written about the Almighty. Recently, he has conferred Eluchi Kavignar award. He is also the recipient of Kavimurasu and Kavivendhar Awards. He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at Thiruvalluvar University, Vellore. He is the editor of the following books, Third World Literature: Innovations and Explorations, Crossing the Boundaries: Theory and Practice of Comparative Literature, Borderless Reflections: Critical Essays on Comparative Literature and Dalit Aesthetics: Theorising the Subaltern Consciousness.
