Though Daniel's body was never recovered, the authorities were quick to rule his disappearance an accidental drowning. Sara never could quite believe that explanation (at least the accidental part), but she had a young daughter to raise and bills to pay so had to be practical and move on. And she did-except, of course, for entering into any new romantic relationships. Having her husband vanish off the face of the earth made her more than a little cautious about getting romantically involved with someone new.

But suddenly strange things are happening, and Sara realizes that her life is in danger. She is forced to step out of the shadows and find out what really happened to Daniel. And crazy as it seems, while playing detective she unexpectedly finds herself attracted to two men-both of whom are smart, successful, and easy on the eyes. And they, in turn, each express an interest in her. She's not wealthy, and no one has ever accused her of being a man magnet, so it all seems more than a little suspicious-especially since she's fairly certain that each man is keeping a secret from her. Is it possible that one of them was involved in her husband's disappearance fifteen years ago? Sara doesn't know the answer to that question, but she intends to find out.
