Based in the UK, author Eldo Barkhuizen has freelanced as a copy editor and proofreader in Christian publishing for 24 years.

He committed his life to Christ in 1974, and began studying church history and biblical Hebrew and Greek when a student at a South African university in 1975.

He has copy-edited and proofread both popular and academic books on biblical studies, theology and church history for publishers such as Inter-Varsity Press, Sheffield Academic Press, Zondervan, SPCK, HarperCollins, Routledge, Blackwell, Paternoster Press, Kingsway and Hodder & Stoughton.

His books aim to show the dangerous flaws in much current Christian belief and practice, and give clear, accurate and corrective biblical teaching.
