Why would you want to cage a bird, how is that seeing it's true beauty. Set the beautiful Bird free and the songs of flight will show you the real beauty . . . (excerpt from Flights Above Skies). Riddles on My Mind is a new collection of old poems by Nyesha Jane Farag, which were secretly hidden away in her cupboard drawer for many years. They were private impressions, internal struggles that calmed and energized her in times of personal crisis. They formed a catharsis in the challenges that lay ahead. Almost secretly written, some under candlelight, Nyesha shied away from ever publishing. Eventually she recited a few to her family and friends who were aghast at their richness, relevance, and beauty! Some verge on the metaphysical (self-spoken rather than lyrical), and these soulful memories bring warmth and a human reality to the cold light of day.

Autorenporträt
Nyesha Jane Farag is of Irish-Egyptian ancestry. Born and raised in London, she has resided in Manchester since 2002. Nyesha claims her pen is mightier than the sword. Some of her poems resonate deep spiritual themes based on healing, and some evoke eroticised earthly passions. She carries thoughts and experiences that have passed through many dimensions. In her astral meditations, she has conversed with Zeus and Vincent van Gogh. Her own personal demons have been slain only when new lessons have been learned. Please enjoy her first published works, which were hidden away in her drawer for many years but now illuminate a new, creative beginning.
