A. L. Kirby is a Canadian lady (mother of 6 grown children and grandmother to 15 youngsters ranging from 2 to 22.) Although she has always admired the beauty and individuality of rocks, A.L. never thought she would write stories about them. Or at least, she never thought she would until the night she dreamed of some rocks, in a field near her home, magically coming to life! This dream was the spark that lit the flames of imagination in A.L.'s mind and inspired her to write about the fun adventures of a frolicsome group of small living stones. The ROXPLORERS in: WHERE DID GOLDY GO? is the first book in a series about these charming and mischievous little rock folk.
