Autorenporträt
Robert Ilvento, Rutgers University Class of 1987, brings a unique perspective to the origins of football in "The Rumble of 1869". As a former Rutgers football player under Coach Dick Anderson, he has an intimate understanding of the game and its traditions. Beyond his athletic background, Robert is a successful American entrepreneur, having founded Cluck-University Chicken and the Silverball Museums in Asbury Park, New Jersey, and Delray Beach, Florida. His diverse portfolio includes the Jersey Shore Fry Company, a national foodservice brand of appetizers, and recent startups Saturn Pizza chain and Razn Rum company. Robert lived in Princeton, New Jersey, from 1989 to 2017 with his wife, Jeanne, and two daughters, Morgan and Carly, plus a dog, Murphy, and a horse, Sunny. He currently resides in Delray Beach, Florida.
