Sandra Gail Lambert writes fiction and memoir that is often about the disabled body and its relationship to the natural world. She is the author of My Withered Legs and Other Essays, the novels A River's Memory and The Sacrifice Zone, as well as A Certain Loneliness, a Lambda Literary Award nominated memoir that explores the intersections of disability, queerness, and desire. Her work has been published by The New York Times, The Sun, Uncharted, The Millions, and Orion Magazine. Lambert and her wife live in Florida close to their beloved rivers and swamps.
