Noreen Olson has been writing these true tales in her biweekly column for more than twenty-three years, and collected them in six books. These stories are the best of the best, together with newly written introductions to thematic groupings, and an introduction by Will Ferguson.

Autorenporträt

Noreen Olson is a mother, marriage commissioner, full-time farmer and an active member of the Alberta Women's Institute and the Sons of Norway. A public speaker and the author of six books, including The Family Picnic and Other Events, she also writes an award-winning biweekly column for the Didsbury Review. She lives near Carstairs, Alberta.

Will Ferguson is the best-selling author of Bastards and Boneheads: Canada's Glorious Leaders Past and Present, Canadian History for Dummies and the tongue-in-cheek survey Why I Hate Canadians. His eleventh book, Spanish Fly was published in 2007.
