The Scottish UFO Casebook is a compilation of over 800 sightings, from the first century AD to the present day. Well-known events are covered alongside sightings teased out of archives and contemporary newspaper accounts. Each entry has been written with an unsensational eye for the facts, fully referenced and with links to original sources. Where possible, actual case numbers are given, as used by UFO groups of the time. Sightings are of course covered, as are Close Encounters, Alien Abductions, and yet stranger occurrences. Many cases are being presented here for the first time. You will see that throughout history Scotland is no stranger to to flying saucer mystery.

Autorenporträt

During the 90s Steve Hammond worked for Scottish games company DMA Design as, amongst other things, a writer. In that time he wrote the story, background and characters for the Amiga game Hired Guns, the manuals for Uniracers, Lemmings 3 and others, and was co-writer on Body Harvest and the original Grand Theft Auto. After a short decade and a half diversion coding instrument control software in the aerospace industry, he is now a freelance writer. His lifelong interest in UFOs began in 1980 with a birthday gift of the UFO Encyclopedia, but which contained nothing about sightings made in Scotland. With the Scottish UFO Casebook, he has now collated that "missing" information.
