Sean McNabb doesn't know the greater forces he unleashes as he writes his novel The Cursed Man. He is summoned to a publishing house to discuss the book, and he believes he's on the way to a high-end lifestyle with tickets to all the top events and young women with supple breasts to die for. That's not the case. He is one of sixteen authors who wrote one paragraph of apocalyptic carnage that was identical down to common punctuation. That has astronomical odds. Are these authors pulling off a hoax, or are they owners of prophetic visions? McNabb's novel features Darrington Circe, a man who prefers anonymity but begins seeing a sign on people that means they are going to die soon. After McNabb's publishing dreams are dashed, both he and Circe begin downward spirals in their real and fictional lives. Is this twin track destined to result in death or redemption? Are they both heading toward a cosmic endgame described in the apocalyptic paragraph?
