Autorenporträt

The author, the great-grandson of poor immigrants from South India, rose from humble beginnings to become a senior District Judge of Singapore and the head of several legal service departments. In 1999 he was conferred the Public Administration Medal (Gold) by the Singapore Government He is currently an adjunct law professor at the Singapore Management University.
