Anne Holland grew up in Tunbridge Wells and attended school at Battle Abbey on the site of the Battle of Hastings where her love of history began. She has written over twenty books, including best sellers such as Sea The Stars. Her latest book, Winners All, was published in 2012. As a journalist Anne has contributed to many publications and to radio and television. A successful amateur rider, she was one of the first women to ride, and win, under National Hunt Rules. She now lives in County Westmeath.
