After some time, Marta arrives at a small clearing in the forest, completely surrounded by the pine forest. In the middle is a small lake, glittering in the sunlight like hundreds of tiny diamonds. At the edge grow particularly beautiful flowers, lily-like and culms, which seem to be made of gold. Floating on the small lake are soft pink, giant water lilies, and in the grass around it are two imposing oaks, looking enormously old.

Marta's mouth is wide open. Oooh, she moohed, ooooh, how beautiful it is, I've never seen anything so beautiful, and that peace, it's quiet here.....it's like a fairy tale..........
