Autorenporträt
ML Simmons lives on the family farm, a stone's throw from village of Nevertire. She likes standing on her head, painting and reading and writing stories. Madi is married to her hunky husband and has lots of children and grandchildren. Having been born and bred in country NSW, she and her family are remnants from a by-gone era - one where kids made their own fun and had real life adventures in the paddock every day.......so long as they were home in time for tea. In those days, a trip to town and a chocolate paddle-pop was the highlight of the week. Madi hopes that her story can help to bridge the gap between city and country kids, giving the city children a glimpse of what their country counterparts can accomplish in a day.
