Der Autor, Mischa Schlemmer, geboren 1967 in München, weist nach seiner schulischen Laufbahn einen vielseitigen beruflichen Werdegang auf. Zunächst tätig als Koch, arbeitet er später als Bankkaufmann und in den letzten Jahren als Physiotherapeut mit traumatisierten Menschen. Seine Lieblingsbetätigungen sind das Kochen, Jagen und der Sport. Sein Lebens-Motto ist, nie den Glauben an das Gute zu verlieren. Er ist verheiratet und hat zwei Kinder.
