Hey fellow humans. My name is Shelby and I'm here to talk to you about the awesome life of parenthood. Jk, I'm not a parent yet, (and since you've picked up this book, I'm guessing neither are you).

I'm a 33 year old someday mom-to-be, of probably 1 or 2 tiny humans, with 4 furbabies and a sexy ass spouse of a whole entire decade.

I own a home, a rusty vehicle or two, and a bunch of crap I don't need. Along with several side hustle ideas that get me basically nowhere but in circles while driving myself a teeny bit nuts.

Therefore, I have a lot of reservations about becoming a someday mom-to-be. I lay awake at night staring at ceilings and walls contemplating how I'm supposed to stay on course with my own growth while growing a little nugget inside and outside of me.

Since I've had so much time to embrace the "me" space (and take over some of the hubs as well), I keep thinking that maybe I'm just too selfish for creating spawn of my own.

But then I remember how beautiful this life is and how amazing it is to experience this world and I think about how much more incredible it is to spend with my better half.

Which only then leads me to believe that perhaps I am finally ready to throw in the "not-a-parent" towel and make my way into what I deem as "real adulthood."

Life is just too cool to go it alone, so why not bring along little mini me's to complete the ride? What do you say? Are you in?
