Raised in a repressive society, Gabriella's sensitive spirit was shattered by the trauma of abuse and grief. As an adult, she nearly lost sight of who God had created her to be. But like a bud among the rocks, there was a persistent reaching towards the Son, a yearning for meaning, and a desperate longing for a Heaven without tears. Several times during the lowest, hardest steps of this brutal journey, God showed up in totally unexpected ways. Now, daring to believe her pain will not be wasted, Gabriella is choosing to publish one of those "God moments"; surreptitiously breaking a cultural code of silence to reach hurting souls with an extraordinary message of hope and comfort. While she recognizes we may never be completely healed on this fallen earth, it is her prayer that by sharing her story, perhaps the healing can begin- for reader and author both.
