The Southside of Doubt is a place, a state of mind, a time zone and a poetry collection.
An illustrated concept collection that explores the themes of disenchantment, growing up, morality and mental health.
It is poet Liv McCaughey's debut collection and first release, written during her three years of university and initial years of adulthood. She draws inspiration from traditional fairy tales and nursery rhymes, combined with both experimental and classic poetic choices.
Her writing style is as sweet as it is visceral and haunting.

Liv McCaughey is a poet from the UK. Since winning the first BBC Radio 2 500 words competition at 12 years old, McCaughey has studied acting and creative writing at university in Bristol where she performed at local events developing her spoken word voice.
