Binh was born in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. At fifteen, he decided to travel to Brisbane, Australia, to complete his high school education. With some English to help him get by, he attended year 11 but had difficulty fitting into the Australian school system. He struggled with understanding English and expressing himself clearly. Binh spent almost a year getting used to the language and taught himself to tune his ears into learning how to speak like a local. He felt much better starting year 12 and began to catch up with his peers. There were hard times, but giving up was not an option. Graduating from high school and attending university were his goals. Binh graduated with a Bachelor of Biomedical Science and a Master of Speech Pathology Studies at the University of Queensland. After working with two reputable speech pathology practices in Sydney for several years, he founded Speakable in 2014. Through integrating all the skills that Binh has learnt in the past twenty years, he provides a comprehensive approach to the education and remediation of language-based learning for preschoolers, primary, and high school students. He is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist and a member of Speech Pathology Australia. He is also a member of Toastmasters International and has been awarded with Competent Communicator in 2016. Binh is a yoga teacher and a life coach. His passion is to combine evidence-based strategies to help his clients accomplish their goals and live to their fullest potential.
