They had talked throughout the two day long drive as he was concerned with her driving that far alone. When Blaine heard her call he knew he needed to respond and he hopped ont he first flight to where she was without thought. The two of them begin their lives together but alwasy somewhere in the background was someone be it from her family or their friend group trying to ruin Sam for some reason. Blaine never wavered in his support of her and becasue of that she is able to do some incredible things that change their lives for the better.
