Renildo Souza is a professor of political economy at the Faculty of Economics at the Federal University of Bahia (Brazil) and teaches in the Postgraduate Programs in International Relations (PPGRI-UFBA) and Economics (PPGE-UFBA), having coordinated the latter. He has written and published extensively in the areas of political economy, development, and Chinese economy.
