Icy Sedgwick was born in the North East of England, and lives and works in Newcastle, where she teaches graphic design. She also blogs about folklore and mythology, and now runs the Fabulous Folklore with Icy podcast. Get your weekly folklore hit in 15 minutes or less.

She spends her non-writing time working on a PhD in Film Studies, considering the use of set design in contemporary haunted house films.
