T. Eric Peet (1882-1934) was Brunner Professor of Egyptology at the University of Liverpool. Among his other publications are 'Egypt and the Old Testament,' 'Mathematics in Ancient Egypt,' 'The City of Akhenaten,' and 'The Cemeteries of Abydos.'
