Monica Kade is an author, host of the popular The Monica Kade Podcast and word lover. Over the years she's had the pleasure of interviewing thousands of people doing what they love and challenging the status quo. Some of these include Lewis Howes, Danielle La Porte, Jennifer Rudolph Walsh, Kate Northrup, Gabrielle Bernstein, Christine Hassler, JP Sears, Guy Kawasaki, Dr John Demartini, Luke Hines, Pete Evans, Nora Gedgaudas, and more. Her love for interviewing was born from an intuitive whisper that one day spoke loud and clear as she walked through the grounds of her university, it said, "I want to start a magazine". At 20 years old, she went on to start her first business; an online magazine: Mink. In its day it was one of a kind, featuring the up-comers in the creative arts. At a time when online mags were rare and few, Monica ran a team in Sydney and Melbourne for 2 years. After that, she moved to New York City to start new adventures-but always interviewing. She's written for Collective Hub, Thrive Global, Commbank's Women in Focus and her successful online ventures include Mink Magazine, Career Confessions; Editor for WorkDifferent and Managing editor for print publications: Aspire and My Business magazine. Monica also runs Monica Wrote It, a copywriting business helping brands fine-tune their brand messaging to communicate with purpose, clarity and power. Her clients include global brands: Commonwealth Bank, AGL, Xero, Nurture Her, Christine Hassler, Infamous Swim-amongst others. In 2008, she was nominated as an Anthill Business Magazine Top 30 under 30 Entrepreneur. Monica has also spoken at Commbank's Wired for Wonder, Northside Clinic, Vibewire's FastBREAK U-Turn and Macquarie University's AIESEC Tour. Monica has appeared on numerous podcasts, Ch7 Weekend Sunrise and featured in CLEO magazine, Collective Hub, The Cool Career and PsychCentral. She has an ongoing love affair with the ocean, especially on a rainy day. She loves sunset over sunrise-for the pastel colours-and drinks black coffee. Monica has also lived in NYC-her second love affair. She's an avid snowboarder, summertime surfer and loves CrossFit.
