The Story of a Monkey on a Stick is a children's book written by Laura Lee Hope. The story revolves around a little boy named Ted, who gets a monkey on a stick as a birthday present. Eventually, Ted comes up with a plan to make a monkey on a stick for Timmy. He makes the monkey out of an old broomstick, some rope, and a few other materials. Timmy is thrilled with his new toy and the two boys become good friends. The story teaches the importance of friendship and the joy of creating something with your own hands.
