Autorenporträt
J. A. Boulet is the passionate author of many historical fiction sagas. Subjects include immigration, war, love, perseverance and family bonds. She was was born and raised in Western Canada as a first generation Canadian from European descent. Her parents landed in St. John's, NFLD as refugees in 1956, a direct result of the Hungarian Revolution. J. A. Boulet was born many years later, raised in a strong Hungarian culture and proudly calls Canada home to this day. She started writing poetry at the age of five and progressed to short stories and novels.

After her Photojournalism degree, she developed a keen interest in history, healing, family bonds and embracing the unknown. J. A Boulet writes with a spine-tingling realism like none other, grabbing your emotions and refusing to let go.

In a tribute to her deceased parents, she wrote 1956 Love & Revolution in 2023, a gripping story of the plight of Hungarian citizens during the 1956 Revolution. Along with many other books and series, J. A. continues to contribute to historical facts by writing books with a fictional character base during tumultuous times in the world's history. The Olason Chronicles is a 4-book series that takes readers on a journey of Icelandic-Canadian history as well as WWI and WWII. The much anticipated Eastman Saga is a 4-book series of American-Canadian history, which will be released starting in 2024.
