Sarah Govett, 37, read law at Trinity College, Oxford. After qualifying as a solicitor, she set up her own tutoring agency. Her first book, The Territory was shortisted for the Times/Chicken House fiction competition and published by Firefly in 2015 to considerable acclaim. She has two young children and lives in London.
